Legal expert Judge Andrew Napolitano was recently criticized by people in the mainstream media for the strong stand he took for President Donald Trump, supplying further evidence about how President Obama tasked British spies to run surveillance on Trump Tower.
The outrage in the establishment press was so loud that Fox News ended up buckling to pressure, and kicked Napolitano off the network. Napolitano returned, however, and delivered some devastating news.
Napolitano made an appearance recently on his former network as a guest on the program America’s Newsroom. He heard the statement by Britain’s Government Communications Headquarters, which said, “Recent allegations made by media commentator Judge Andrew Napolitano about GCHQ being asked to conduct ‘wire tapping’ against the then President Elect are nonsense. They are utterly ridiculous and should be ignored.”
Asked host Bill Hemmer to Andrew, “You still stand by that?” Responded Napolitano, “Yes I do, and the sources stand by it and the American public needs to know more about this rather than less because a lot of the government surveillance authorities will expire in the fall.”
He continued, “There will be a great debate about how much authority we want the government to have to surveil us and the more the American public knows about this the more informed their and Congress’ decisions will be.” He added, “I think a lot more is going to come.” Do you think Napolitano was right to make these allegations?
