Rachel Maddow is one of MSNBC’s most biased and completely ridiculous reporters. She recently humiliated herself by releasing President Trump’s ‘tax returns’ without the network’s permission. After President Trump’s attack on Syria, the time slot for her show was replaced by Brian Williams, and Brian Williams ended up covering the attack.
However, Brian Williams proved that he can sometimes be even more ridiculous than Maddow. Fans angrily complained about Maddow being replaced and not being allowed to cover the airstrike. Brian Williams raised many eyebrows when he called the missiles used to attack Syria ‘beautiful’.
“We see these beautiful pictures at night from the decks of these two U.S. Navy vessels in the eastern Mediterranean. I am tempted to quote the great Leonard Cohen: ‘I am guided by the beauty of our weapons,” said Williams about the photos of the missiles launching.
“They are beautiful pictures of fearsome armaments making what is for them what is a brief flight over to this airfield… What did they hit?” asked Williams to his guests retired Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer, and intelligence expert, Malcolm Nance.
The song that Williams had quoted is Leonard Cohen “First We Take Manhattan” which Cohen himself describes as a “pro-terrorist anthem”. “There’s something about terrorism that I’ve always admired. The fact that there are no alibis or no compromises. That position is always very attractive,” said Cohen in a 1988 interview. Check out the video below.
